A Season-Best Performance from Hayezon Jackson Leads Clayton Valley Charter over Las Lomas
Hayezon Jackson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Clayton Valley Charter to the win on Friday. Jackson rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (110.7) per game. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.
The win (which was Clayton Valley Charter's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Jackson and Clayton Valley Charter will host Acalanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Josh Elerts Delivers Best Performance of Season
Acalanes was led to victory by Josh Elerts, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Elerts rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making a tackle.
Acalanes pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Elerts and Acalanes will take on Clayton Valley Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Roman Mercado's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Las Lomas over Clayton Valley Charter
While Roman Mercado delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Las Lomas. Mercado was dynamite, picking up 192 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
If the past is any indication, Mercado could be in store for another big game when he takes on Campolindo on Friday. Mercado picked up 204 receiving yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Cougars duked it out back in October of 2023.

Blair Made His Presence Known in Miramonte's 35-28 Defeat
Miramonte was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Carson Blair did his best to prevent it. Acalanes had no answer to Blair as he threw for 348 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 36 yards and two touchdowns.
Miramonte's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. Blair and Miramonte will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Las Lomas at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Dylan Thomas Makes It Two for Las Lomas
The second Las Lomas player making an appearance here is Dylan Thomas, and for good reason. He threw for 316 yards and three touchdowns.
