North Caroline is 8-2 against Wicomico since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The North Caroline Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Wicomico Indians at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in North Caroline's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Wicomico has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
North Caroline put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They claimed a resounding 35-0 victory over Colonel Richardson on the road.
Zymear Smith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 123 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Nasai Bell, who threw for 171 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Wicomico strolled past Bennett with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 21-7. The victory was just what Wicomico needed coming off of a 41-10 loss in their prior contest.
Among those leading the charge was Jordyn Hayman, who rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Hayman was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.
Their wins bumped North Caroline to 8-1 and Wicomico to 2-7.
North Caroline was able to grind out a solid win over Wicomico when the teams last played back in September, winning 14-7. Will North Caroline repeat their success, or does Wicomico have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
