Middletown faced Appoquinimink in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Cavaliers blew past the Jaguars 32-7. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Middletown pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.0 points over those games. As for Appoquinimink, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.
