Maddix Young was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
