Southwest Georgia Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grayson Cox, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Banks Mathis was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Southwest Georgia Academy pushed their record up to 10-12 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Westwood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.
Southwest Georgia Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Terrell Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Georgia Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
