If the North Forney Falcons were riding high off their 60-33 takedown of the Pinkston Vikings on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. North Forney was the victim of a tough 54-34 loss at the hands of Little Elm on Thursday. While losing is never fun, North Forney can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 313th, while Little Elm is ranked 27th).
Little Elm's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shiloh Kimpson, who scored 16 points. The contest was Kimpson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amina Diallo, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
North Forney has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Little Elm, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.
North Forney's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lancaster at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. Lancaster has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Little Elm, they will square off against Boswell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boswell is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
