While Catoctin's victory against Williamsport wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 12-11. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Catoctin's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3-1 and their overall record up to 2-4-1. As for Williamsport, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Catoctin will face off against rival Boonsboro at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Williamsport is set to challenge their familiar foe Walkersville on Monday.
