Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Lyndon Tigers walked away with it. They blew past the Indians, posting a 34-6 victory on the road. Considering Lyndon has won 12 matches by more than 27 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Tanner Heckel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 251 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Heckel was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards.
The victory for Lyndon keeps them at an undefeated 13-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.46 points. As for Wichita County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-1.
