It may have taken  extra minutes to finish the job, but Overhills ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Pine Forest Trojans  2-1. The score was all tied up  0-0 at the break, but Overhills were the  better team in the second half.
 Carson Gautier and  Jahvonte Lowe scored both of Overhills' goals,  bringing their combined season tally to four goals.
Overhills'  win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 3-7-1. As for Pine Forest, they dropped their record down to 3-10-2 with the  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
