Bel Air has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge The Dundalk Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Bel Air was able to grind out a solid win over Elkton, taking the game 26-19.
Bel Air's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jo?l Tristan ouandji nana, who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown. Tristan ouandji nana is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last six games he's played. Patrick Sullivan was another key contributor, throwing for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
Bel Air's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. The heavy lifting was done by Nathan Calamita and Jon Gettle who racked up four sacks between them.
Meanwhile, Dundalk gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They enjoyed a cozy 21-3 victory over Franklin. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dundalk.
The critical scores for Dundalk came from Anthony Smith jr., Micah Williams, and Jocquan Jenkins.
Bel Air now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Dundalk, their win on Friday bumped their record up to 5-2.
