Mountain View has gone a perfect 4-0 against Central Gwinnett recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mountain View Bears will head out to take on the Central Gwinnett Black Knights at 9:30 p.m. Central Gwinnett took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mountain View, who comes in off a win.

Mountain View barely beat Collins Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Mountain View never let Collins Hill get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Tuesday. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Eagles are ranked 242nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Central Gwinnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Buford, falling 10-0.

The victory made it two in a row for Mountain View and bumps their season record up to 5-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Central Gwinnett, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything went Mountain View's way against Central Gwinnett in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Mountain View made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mountain View since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
