The Coastal Christian HomeSchool Badgers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 45-11 loss at the hands of Bloomington. While losing is never fun, Coastal Christian HomeSchool can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1494th, while Bloomington is ranked 708th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bloomington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Khyli Proctor, who scored ten points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Proctor set a new season high mark in steals with eight. Another player making a difference was Kenzi Proctor, who scored 11 points.
Coastal Christian HomeSchool's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.3 points per game. As for Bloomington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Coastal Christian HomeSchool will head out on the road to face off against Taft at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bloomington, they will be playing at home against Weimar at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
