Alex Wolfe Turns in Season-Best Effort
Waterford was led to victory by Alex Wolfe, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Wolfe rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Wolfe has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 95.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 0.14 rushing yards per game.

On Friday, Stone Ridge Christian got the W thanks in part to Marcus Gray playing the best football he has all season. The win was the sixth in a row for Stone Ridge Christian, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Gray and Stone Ridge Christian will face off against Mariposa County at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Kayden Downey Leads Stone Ridge Christian over Le Grand
Kayden Downey produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Stone Ridge Christian to the win on Friday. Downey picked up 68 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles and defended five passes.
For the year, Downey has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 57 receiving yards per game.

Daijon O?Neil Goes Supernova in Stone Ridge Christian Win
Daijon O?Neil's big game helped extend Stone Ridge Christian's winning streak to six on Friday. O?Neil did his part (and then some), picking up 88 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground for the 'W'.
O?Neil is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Mariposa County on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time O?Neil saw the Grizzlies), he rushed for 159 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Rounding off our Top Five is Laten Butler of Mariposa County. Butler picked up 54 receiving yards, and also rushed for 50 yards.
Mariposa County's loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. Butler will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Stone Ridge Christian on Friday.
