Easthampton moved up to 237 from 274 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Intercounty. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Mahar Regional 52-12.
Greenfield was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. The Green Wave beat Belchertown 28-12 earlier in the week.
Turners Falls' offense cannot be tamed this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Malcolm Smith has thrown for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while Jalen Sanders has 11 catches for 109 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Turners Falls takes on Frontier Regional. The Indians are in first place, while the Red Hawks are in fourth place.
Easthampton made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,553 from 13,079. The improvement came about via a 52-12 victory over the Senators last week.
