After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Horizon, Ocoee was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. They never let the Jones Fightin' Tigers get on the board and left with  a   16-0  victory. Considering the Knights have won nine matches by more than nine  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Addy Sims was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Sims was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  RBI. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other pitching news,  Jadore Thompson looked comfortable as she  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances.
 Back at the plate,  Shyanne Marble was a standout: she got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with six  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  six  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kylie Holden, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Ocoee  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .880. They are 10-2 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
With the  win, Ocoee broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-10. As for Jones,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ocoee will welcome Lyman  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Jones, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Lake Buena Vista  at 6:00  p.m. The Fightin' Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vipers have averaged an impressive 9.8  runs per game this season.
