With a playoff win on the line, Springer rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Alamo Navajo Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Red Devils, who have now won three matches in a row.

Leading Springer to victory were Kyanna Rodriguez and Jaycee Apodaca. Rodriguez had 11 digs and four aces, while Apodaca had nine digs. Those four aces gave Rodriguez a new career-high.

Springer's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Alamo Navajo, they moved to 16-5 with that loss, which also ended their eight-match winning streak.
