The American History Bald Eagles have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a serious blow against Montclair Kimberley Academy on Monday, falling  59-23. American History was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  35-10.
 American History lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Erica Lawson, who  scored four points along with five  steals. Lawson is crushing the  steal category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season.  Ashiyah Holliman was another key contributor,  scoring six points.
 American History's loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 15-7. As for Montclair Kimberley Academy,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 12-10.
 American History will head out on the road to  square off against  Science Park at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in New Jersey (American History is ranked 283rd, while Science Park is ranked 275th). As for Montclair Kimberley Academy, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Kent Place at 4:00  p.m. Montclair Kimberley Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
