Nicholas Parco posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out nine batters over 4.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Minisink Valley's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 3-1 (and 3-5 when he doesn't).
