Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Whitney Young

With a playoff win on the line, Whitney Young rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Kennedy Crusaders. Winning may never get old, but the Dolphins sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Levi Agulnek looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Whitney Young saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Theo Kimmeth, who went 2-for-3 with one triple. That triple was Kimmeth's first of the season.

Whitney Young's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Kennedy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season.

Whitney Young does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kennedy, they will be playing at home against Disney II at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.43 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
