The Quad Cities Christian Eagles's game  on January 2nd was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They blew past Galesburg Christian 50-29. With Quad Cities Christian ahead  28-7 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
  Piper Ochkie continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 19 points along with four  steals and two  blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last ten times she's  played.  Raegan Ochkie was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with nine  rebounds and four  blocks.
 Quad Cities Christian's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Galesburg Christian, their loss  ended  an  eight-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quad Cities Christian won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Tri-State Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on January 19th. Tri-State Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Galesburg Christian, they will head out on the road to  take on  Faith Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
