Four quarterbacks threw for more than 500 yards and four threw for at least right touchdowns last week to highlight this week's MaxPreps National Football Stat Stars.
Grant Sherman of Kenton (Ohio) tops the list with 682 yards and nine touchdowns, but he was not the only quarterback with nine touchdowns. Drew Schnitz of Huntington North (Ind.) also had nine touchdown tosses while throwing for 380 yards.
Kolt Moreland of Lamesa (Texas) and Will Grier of Davidson Day (N.C.) each had eight touchdown passes.
Thomas Tyner of Aloha (Beaverton, Ore.) easily outdistanced all rushers with 644 yards and 10 touchdowns. He moves into second place among the national rushing leaders with 1,227 yards despite playing just three games. He trails only Jalen Hurd of Beech (Hendersonville, Tenn.), who also makes this list with 299 yards. Hurd leads the nation with 1,529 yards and 19 touchdowns.
