Baseball Recap: Bristol Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Bristol was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Chalker on Monday. The Panthers never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Jonas Miller and Diesel Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Miller tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Williams pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bristol is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise. At the plate, Miller earned two runs and one stolen base, while Williams went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaiden Kohler, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Bristol is undefeated when Kohler posts two or more runs, but 7-8 otherwise. Jack Berry was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Bristol kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chalker only managed two hits.

Bristol is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Chalker, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Coincidentally, Bristol and Chalker will both be playing Badger the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
