If Waynesboro wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Mifflin County, they should've done a better job of containing Brandon Kauffman. The Huskies came out on top against the Indians by a score of 17-6 on Friday for which the team can thank Kauffman, who rushed for 144 yards and one touchdown. That rushing touchdown marked the first that he has punched in this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Mifflin County and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Waynesboro, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mifflin County will face off against rival Lower Dauphin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Waynesboro is set to square off against their familiar foe Mechanicsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
