Stuart W. Cramer and Bandys are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The Stuart W. Cramer Storm will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Bandys Trojans at 10:30 a.m. on December 27th. Stuart W. Cramer will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 374th, while Bandys is ranked 38th).
Last Tuesday, Stuart W. Cramer ended up a good deal behind North Gaston and lost 51-35.
The losing side was boosted by Taelan Whitley, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Makhi Brown, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Even though they lost, Stuart W. Cramer were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Gaston only pulled down three offensive rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bandys put another one in the bag last Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to West Lincoln for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-47 victory on the road. Considering Bandys has won four matches by more than 23 points this season, last Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Bandys' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Easton Ledford , who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The contest was Ledford 's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Micah Slaughter was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Stuart W. Cramer now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Bandys, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Stuart W. Cramer hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 50.3 points per game. However, it's not like Bandys struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 73.1 points per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Stuart W. Cramer came up short against Bandys in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 53-46. Can Stuart W. Cramer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
