Hamilton/Audubon's rough 66-45 defeat to Milwaukee Juneau on Thursday might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hamilton/Audubon has scored all season.
Milwaukee Juneau found their leader in underclassman Dooney Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Takis Tyler, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Hamilton/Audubon's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4. As for Milwaukee Juneau, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
Hamilton/Audubon on the road again on Saturday and play against Butler at 1:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Milwaukee Juneau, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kiel at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Kiel is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
