The Portal Panthers will head out to  face off against the Calvary Day Cavaliers  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Portal is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers  on Tuesday. Portal's defense stepped up to hand Lakeside  a   19-0 shutout.
Meanwhile,  after only six  points in their last  game, Calvary Day made sure to put some  points up on the board against Beach  on Tuesday. The Cavaliers breezed past the Bulldogs to the tune of  32-0. Considering the Cavaliers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
 One reason for the win was Calvary Day's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks.  Hephzibah Wilson was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three herself.
 The  win  got Calvary Day back to even at 3-3. As for Portal, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
 Portal lost to Calvary Day on the road  by a decisive  19-0 margin  when the teams last played  back in October of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
