In what's become a running theme this season, the Berean Academy Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-33 victory over Mount Pisgah Christian Academy at home. While fans of Berean Academy might be used to big wins, the 44-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Berean Academy had a senior duo take command as Austen Harvey scored 21 points and Barret Hasley scored 21 points. Hasley is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Stansifer, who scored ten points.
Berean Academy's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berean Academy will face off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mount Pisgah Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on February 15th.
