Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Jordyn Kees Delivers Electric Performance Vs Amite County
Starting off the list is Loyd Star's Jordyn Kees, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kees rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 149 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Amite County, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Kees. Kees rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kewan Miner Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sadly, Kewan Miner posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Amite County over Loyd Star on Friday. Miner rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 80 yards.
Amite County is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Miner and Amite County will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wilkinson County at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
