Weehawken has gone a perfect 10-0 against North Arlington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Indians will be playing at home against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. Weehawken's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so North Arlington's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Weehawken barely beat Lakeland Regional the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 8-2 win on Wednesday. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Arlington came into Wednesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Secaucus on Wednesday.

Jacklyn Burbach made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isabella Buccheri, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abigail Cubero, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Weehawken has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for North Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Weehawken took their win against North Arlington in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
