Winthrop College Prep Academy was led to victory by Jason Johnson and Kai Brookins. Johnson dropped a double-double on 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Brookins scored 27 points along with 6 steals and 5 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least 25% of Winthrop College Prep Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephen Miller, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
The victory got Winthrop College Prep Academy back to even at 2-2. As for St. Petersburg Catholic, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

St. Petersburg Catholic's road trip will continue as they head out to face Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Clearwater Central Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. Petersburg Catholic in Florida (Clearwater Central Catholic is ranked 56th, while St. Petersburg Catholic is ranked 520th).
