Baseball Recap: Pinnacle's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Pinnacle ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They beat the Davis Darts by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-8. The win was nothing new for the Pioneers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Dylan Fisher tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chase Gonzalez, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025. Raul Escobar was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Pinnacle kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.

Pinnacle's record is now 10-2. As for Davis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Pinnacle didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 22-0 victory against Timnath on the 16th. As for Davis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-2 loss against Lake Havasu on the 17th.
