The Mound-Westonka White Hawks will head out on the road to  challenge  the Hutchinson Tigers at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Mound-Westonka will be strutting in after a  victory while Hutchinson will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Last Tuesday, Mound-Westonka had just enough and edged Delano out  6-5. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Mound-Westonka.
  Connor Esposito made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over four innings pitched. Esposito was also stellar in the batter's box,  firing off two  home runs while going 2-for-5.
 In other batting news,  Grayson Van Nelson was  excellent,  going 2-for-5 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Hutchinson fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against Southwest Christian  on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Stars by a score of  3-1.
 Mound-Westonka's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Hutchinson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
 Mound-Westonka was able to grind out a solid  victory over Hutchinson when the teams last played  on May 2nd, winning  6-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mound-Westonka since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
