The Dexter Tigers won the last time they faced the Central Red Devils, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Dexter blew past Central 58-35.
Dexter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Doherty, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Doherty is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kellen Peavey, who scored 14 points.
Dexter now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Central, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Dexter will be home for the holidays to greet Penobscot Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Penobscot Valley is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Penquis Valley at 1:30 p.m. on December 30th.
