The Hartfield Academy Hawks will head out on the road to square off against the Jackson Prep Patriots at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Jackson Prep took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hartfield Academy, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Hartfield Academy didn't have too much trouble with the Bobcats at home as they won 53-35. The win was just what Hartfield Academy needed coming off of a 83-40 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Jackson Prep faced the Raiders in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Jackson Prep took a 52-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Tuesday.
Hartfield Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Jackson Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-8.
Things could have been worse for Hartfield Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-36 loss to the Patriots in their previous matchup back in January. Can Hartfield Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
