Byron entered their tilt with Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Sentinels with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.

While Byron won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12, 29-27.

Byron's win bumped their record up to 16-2-1. As for Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Byron will welcome Montrose at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lutheran Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
