After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dierks, Murfreesboro was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mount Ida Lions by a score of 37-30. For the Rattlers, this counts as revenge for the 38-35 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Murfreesboro's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Mount Ida, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Murfreesboro will take on Kirby at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Ida, they will venture away from home to face off against Mountain Pine at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
