Ridgway was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight  loss. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ouray Trojans. The Demons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won  3-1.
 Ridgway started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-20, 25-20,  25-16.
 Madison Megahee paced Ridgway's offense, picking up 15 kills. Megahee got some help from  Sasha Kingsford and her 12 assists. Megahee was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
 Ouray found their leader in freshman  Imogene Demuth, who  had 15  digs. Demuth is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's  played.  Payton Easley also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Ridgway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Ouray,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-13.
 Ridgway has  already played their next  contest (against Dove Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ouray, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  loss against Mancos on the 30th.
