They took down Corpus Christi United 65-50. Given Coastal Christian HomeSchool's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 472nd, while Corpus Christi United is ranked 1336th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
When it comes to explaining why Corpus Christi United lost, one person who can't be blamed is Judah Jones. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Jones also pulled down eight rebounds for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Jonker, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Coastal Christian HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Corpus Christi United, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
