After two weeks on the road, Lake Clifton/Reach is heading back home. On Thursday they will take on National Academy Foundation at 3:00 PM. Lake Clifton/Reach will be hoping to continue their now four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
Lake Clifton/Reach got themselves on the board against Southwestern last Friday, but Southwestern never followed suit. Everything came up roses for Lake Clifton/Reach against Southwestern as the team secured a 35-0 win. The win was familiar territory for Lake Clifton/Reach, who now have six in a row.
Meanwhile, National Academy Foundation put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Benjamin Franklin 44-0. National Academy Foundation were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped National Academy Foundation to 4-1 and Lake Clifton/Reach to 6-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
