This season hasn't been kind to the Bradford Academy Archers, who are still winless after their seventh game. They took a serious blow against Lee Christian on Friday, falling 77-32. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bradford Academy of the 77-42 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Lee Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Christian Wilson out in front who scored 20 points along with two steals. Wilson hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Daniel Rumbold, who scored 16 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Bradford Academy's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Lee Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.
Bradford Academy the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Crossroads Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Lee Christian, they will square off against New Garden Friends at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. New Garden Friends presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lee Christian in North Carolina (New Garden Friends is ranked 175th, while Lee Christian is ranked 460th).
