After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Big Bear, Rubidoux was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Pacific Pirates as they made off with a 14-2 victory. Genevieve Aguas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Rubidoux let Leslie Gutierrez and Davina Sandoval run wild.
