They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Non Varsity Tournament Opponent 75-30 on the road. The result was nothing new for Horseshoe Bend, who have now won six matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.
Layth Bromgard was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 40 points and 22 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Horseshoe Bend's points. Another player making a difference was Treyven Bauer, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Horseshoe Bend's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 25 of their last 30 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 49-164 record this season.
Horseshoe Bend and Vision will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Non Varsity Tournament Opponent is on the road again on Friday and play against Bosqueville at 12:00 p.m. on December 29th. Bosqueville is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
