In what's become a running theme this season, the East Central HomeSchool Patriots gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They put the hurt on Providence Classical with a sharp 65-41 win. East Central HomeSchool's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Central HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Micah Coalson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten assists. Coalson is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Nelson, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
East Central HomeSchool has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Providence Classical, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
East Central HomeSchool won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mt. Pleasant Christian at 1:30 p.m. on January 13th. Mt. Pleasant Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Providence Classical, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cornerstone Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cornerstone Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
