After five games on the road, Bangs is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Hamilton Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bangs will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 666th, while Hamilton is ranked 302nd).
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bangs beat Cooper 39-33.
Meanwhile, Hamilton pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clifton.
Bangs' win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 8-6.
Bangs was taken down by Hamilton 78-9 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Bangs was down 30-4.
