The Lee Generals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They took a hard 58-40 fall against John Battle. Lee has not had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Generals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Troutman, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Scotty Napier, who scored eight points.
Lee dropped their record down to 2-15 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for John Battle, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee will take on the Titans at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for John Battle, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Warriors at 8:00 p.m. Central Wise and the Trojans are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
