Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Summerville). They claimed a resounding 80-35 victory over the Elliot Christian Eagles. With the Bears ahead 43-23 at the half, the game was all but over already.

When it comes to explaining why Elliot Christian lost on Tuesday, don't look at Jeremy Nielsen. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points. Nielsen's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kaden Kirby, who had two points and 14 rebounds.

With the win, Summerville broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for Elliot Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summerville will welcome Foresthill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elliot Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ben Holt College Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Truc Huynh and Nielsen.
