Baseball Game Preview: St. Rita Mustangs vs. Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack

For the second straight game, St. Rita will face off against Saint Ignatius College Prep. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Wolfpack at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when St. Rita and Saint Ignatius College Prep meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Mustangs came out on top against the Wolfpack by a score of 4-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Sullivan Kazee spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up six Ks. He has become a key player for St. Rita: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-14 otherwise.
