After flying high against Deerfield on Friday, Evanston came back down to earth. The Wildkits took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Libertyville Wildcats on Saturday. The Wildkits' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Evanston's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Libertyville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coming up, Evanston will venture away from home to face off against Glenbrook North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Libertyville, they will host Rolling Meadows at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday.
