Escambia is a perfect 10-0 against Pensacola since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Escambia will look to defend their home field against Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. Escambia knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Pensacola likes a good challenge.
On Tuesday, Escambia made easy work of Pine Forest and carried off a 12-1 victory. Considering the Gators have won six games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pensacola's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Escambia has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Pensacola, though, as they've been averaging only 4.1 strikeouts. Will Escambia keep running through batters, or will Pensacola buck the trend?
Escambia took their victory against Pensacola in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 20-5. Will Escambia repeat their success, or does Pensacola has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
