Greenville never let their opponents score on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Greenville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Carlyle, they dropped their record down to 9-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Greenville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians/Lady Indians: the pair will be back at it again later today.
